Structure of electric vehicle follow-up brake:
It mainly includes components such as brake box, two brake shoes, crank, reset spring, adjusting parts, tension column, etc. Specifically, the working principle of the follow-up brake is to increase the rotation angle of the two brake shoes during braking through the setting of metal plates and reels, thereby increasing the maximum braking resistance. This structure achieves the adjustment of braking effect through two brake shoe blocks hinged on the hinge shaft fixed on the brake box, as well as adjusting components provided on the brake box on one side of the hinge shaft. In addition, the follow-up brake also has a lock that can lock the brake disc components, providing dust-proof and waterproof functions to ensure brake sensitivity

Working principle:
The working principle of the electric vehicle's follow-up brake is to rotate the eccentric cam through the brake lever, causing the main brake block to generate braking force. The main brake block drives the auxiliary brake block to follow through through the connecting shaft, and the two shoe blocks simultaneously generate braking force to achieve braking. Release the brake lever, the eccentric cam rotates and resets, and the two shoe blocks also reset accordingly. The specific process is as follows:
Braking: The brake block is connected to the brake box through a connecting shaft, and the brake rod is connected to the connecting shaft. The end of the connecting shaft is equipped with an eccentric cam, which is pressed against the other end of the main brake block. When the brake rod is rotated, the eccentric cam generates braking force on the main brake block through the eccentric action. As the eccentric cam continues to rotate, the main brake block drives the auxiliary brake block through the connecting shaft, and the two shoe blocks simultaneously generate braking force.
Reset: The two shoe holes of the open-loop reset spring are inserted into the left and right shoe holes of the left and right shoes respectively. When the left and right shoes are opened for braking, the open-loop reset spring installed on the left and right shoes is also opened to the left and right sides. When the brake line stops braking, the left and right shoes are reset to their original non opened state under the elastic force of the open-loop reset spring.
