The window regulator motor is the power source of the window glass lifting system, responsible for driving the glass up and down. The working principle of a motor is based on electromagnetic induction and changes in the direction of current. Working principle:
The working principle of the glass lifter motor is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. By passing current through the coils on the stator, a magnetic field is generated, which interacts with the permanent magnets on the rotor, causing the rotor to start rotating. This rotation is then driven up or down by mechanical structures such as reducers, wire ropes, or sliders to achieve the function of lifting and lowering the window glass. The design of the window regulator motor takes into account factors such as compact structure, light weight, low noise, fast lifting speed, and long service life to meet the needs of limited interior space and frequent operation in automobiles.
Specifically, when the power is turned on, the current passes through the coils on the stator to generate a magnetic field. This magnetic field interacts with the permanent magnets on the rotor, generating a torque that causes the rotor to start rotating. The rotation of the rotor is further reduced in speed but increased in torque through a reducer, and then driven up or down along a linear trajectory by mechanical structures such as wire ropes or sliders to drive the window glass. This design not only achieves smooth lifting of the car window, but also provides fast and reliable lifting speed, while maintaining low noise levels and improving passenger comfort.
